According to the Department for International Trade, the deal will increase UK GDP by 0.07% – or £1.5bn – after 15 years. To put that into perspective, we as a nation consumed £650m of our own money eating at a discount in august.
Somehow Plums seem very apt

Viewing figures for Saturday night.

BGT: 5.1m

Last Night Of The Proms: 2.1m DOWN 1.4m from 2019.

So what was the point of that then?

I've just rewatched on you tube, an episode of the 1992 series, Root into Europe, with George Cole. It's a brilliant piss take of Brexit fuck wits and the Farage tendency.

It's even more relevant now than it was then

I got as far as the reference to the Maybot being a remainer and gave up. I just *know* it's only going to get more batshit insane as it goes on.

Here's the *genuine* thoughts of a Brexiter:

Reckon this happened?

"Heads of chambers" sounds a bit This Life to me, but at least they're a real thing. Who are "senior legal bods" with this mysterious power? Though I'm sure there's been some disapproval- lawyers tend to have a view on the rule of law.
Isn't that Hitchens Razor:
"That which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed as made up bullshit".

I may have embroidered the tail.
