Wasn't sure where to put this, but does anyone have a link to current hate crime statistics pertaining to the spike which occurred around the Brexit vote? Anyone know of a site that's keeping track of these things?

Hope not Hate would be a good start. There also been a shocking rise in homophobic attacks since Brexit. Its Remainers that are seething so why are attacks made by pro-EU supporters currently running at zero? that's a rhetorical question of course.

Had a good google around and can't find a comprehensive list anywhere, just news items on specific incidents. The police have said that they're going to stop keeping weekly records as things seem to have returned to normal. Normal levels of hate, eh? FFS. Be interesting to see if they need to reconsider that after the tirades in today's Mail and Express.

Women should be protected under expanded hate crime laws, according to a new report from the Law Commission.

The independent body that advises government said misogyny should be treated in the same way as other discrimination when it is the motivation for a crime.
