Yep, they're responsible for the C2K internet network that serves every school in Northern Ireland (and maybe more than just IT networking & equipment in schools which I'm not certain about). If that was to go down overnight all hell would break loose.

C2K was also the beginning of the end of proper technicians being hired directly by schools*, because there was off-site support. That means that non-networked computers and standalone systems would eventually grind to a halt too. Joy.

*The wife tells me that every technician she's seen hired in the last 5 or 6 has been terrifyingly incompetent. Usually a clerical worker who's got their ECDL
