Hi, this confused the heck out of me when it first happened, too. It just stays there until it has been read. It goes without saying that this could and should be a whole lot more intuitive, but I'm afraid at present all we can hope for is an improvement in a subsequent update.

Thanks for raising it, at least others will hopefully see this and at least know that the messages are in fact going through.

I think that's the default behaviour for PMs in this forum software and whilst confusing at first, it does at least indicate the other party has seen your message. I've met a lot worse messaging systems.

FWIW it might help Kreuzy, okay I'm a geek and know how the system works because I remember asking a forum mod exactly the same question myself many years ago and I retain useless information like that.

For some time I've had the issue on my phone and pad that I can't stay logged in, and have to do the double-login thing every time. Which is quite annoying.

Now it's happening on my laptop, which used to be OK. This is not progress. Is it possible to get the 'keep me logged in' tickbox working, plz?

The only time I see the "double login" is when I do so and I get a message saying my credentials were invalid, so I log in again. However, I do tend to log myself out of forums as a matter of course anyway. The one browser that was an absolute pig for the behaviour you describe was Chrome, which I refuse to use anyway. (We had it at work)

You've not had a change/update of browser that clears cookies on exit, have you?
