England not being in the World Cup will also lead to a knock on impact to the economy. All those new TVs for the world cup not being sold, all those pints and meals in pubs / bars going unsold. All that beer sitting on the shelves. All that advertising space suddenly worth a fraction of what it was.
It's almost like they'd quite like an excuse for the economy to take a dive this year to cover up for something else. I can't think what.
We are the angry mob, we read the papers every day.
We like who we like, we hate who we hate, but we're all so easily swayed.
Things can only get better.
