I can't find a thread on this subject so here goes
More than 4,000 officers disciplined for criminal behaviour in five years... including an inspector sacked for SHOPLIFTING
136,000 police officers, 327 found guilty of misconduct in the last year. I make that 0.24% of the force found guilty of misconduct of some kind, the article doesn't give a breakdown of that number. What is the proportion of hacks who are guilty of misconduct? Is the journalistic profession as keen to weed out the bad 'uns?
