I imagine this is going to rumble on for a while:

STEPHEN GLOVER: What an appalling betrayal! BBC bosses should cut their own salaries – and not force the old to pay for their TV licences

Nothing British about the BBC anymore.

The BBC has become so overtly Left Wing it is time for the License to be scrapped altogether. People don't want to pay for left wing propaganda to be boomed into their living rooms.

Sadly the BBC is no longer fit for purpose. People should not be forced to pay for liberal pro-EU propaganda.

The lefties at the BBC have just signalled their own demise. Robbing pensioners of their hard earned right to watch tv just so they can continue paying exorbitant salaries to the so called talent is obscene. Disgraceful.

I'm increasingly in agreement with what Stephen Fry suggested. Shut down for a month, and see what happens when they can't listen to TMS or The Archers.

Even better would be if the BBC shut down the next time there's a heavy fall of snow. Best of luck in Cumbria trying to get updates from your local commercial station which is probably based in Birmingham, and then feel it far more important to talk about Love Island before playing Rita Ora for the fourth time in an hour.

"It's been nearly 24 hours. We need to attack the BBC again and fast"

STEPHEN GLOVER: All pretence has gone. This Tory leadership 'debate' was rigged - and it hopelessly exposed BBC bias

The government needs to do another referendum, this time on the BBC. Do we sell it off or keep.

Time for the BBC to go to a subscription based model. If anyone wants to watch the BBC then they are free to do so. Why should the rest of us be forced to fund this blatant pro-EU left wing propaganda organisation.

The BBC has had a hard left liberal bias for a long time now. It's time we refused to pay the licence fee unless they become impartial again like they were in the good old days. How much longer can our institutions carry on like this? Democracy is at stake.

They froze Theresa May out. Now, with Boris Johnson at the helm, for the first time the obstinate European Union leaders must be terrified

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/arti ... ified.html

Oh sure, EU leaders must be absolutely quaking at the prospect of dealing with the bumbling, bluffing, bullshitting clown Johnson. Tit.

Eurocrats must be dumbfounded to hear Mr Johnson proclaiming that, if need be, Britain will leave without a deal and renege on its payment to Brussels.

You bet they're dumbfounded as is anyone who can see consequences more than a move ahead. People who can't are generally criminals who get caught.
