The Daily Mail's "sparklingly incisive new voice" starts off with a bang - talking about Hitler and accusing the left of being driven by hate....without a hint of irony.

It's not one Mad Dog. The tribal Left is driven by hate, says the Mail's sparklingly incisive new voice DOMINIC LAWSON

That would be Melanie Philips who is never driven by rabid hatred. Unlike Dominic Lawson, which is just back of a fag packet psychobabble-
This was explained by a Labour-voting friend who told me ‘the Left are principally concerned to feel good about themselves, so the worse they can paint their ideological enemies, the better they themselves must be. Perhaps it’s even based on a psychological fear of their own dark side’.
Yeh perhaps Dominic or maybe the left are all cyborgs from the planet Caprica. Who knows.

Perhaps its never occurred him that some of that loathing is based on rational observation and experience of the Tories in power.

He's actually getting a bit of a kicking in the recent comments. I particularity liked this one:
Mentioning the DM's favourite German dictator in the first sentence does not make one incisive.

Although, the best rated is so hypocritical it could be parody:
You only have to read the comments section of The Guardian to realise how full of bile and hatred the left are.

I wonder how Ian would describe the comments section of the Daily Mail.

The comments on here just confirm the article. I do laugh when the darling 'Left Wingers', notably the Socialists rant and spew about fascists and the wealthy members of society. They never seem to make the connection that the man who led the National Socialist Workers Party (Germany) from 1933 to 1945 was the man they despise for everything, yet they continue with the ideology of that particular party.

Haven't had that one for a few weeks.

Why is it than when you worked on the other paper you sounded more reasonable in your arguments.. You were actually readable. You dont have to channel Melanie Philips just because you;'ve got the gig with the DM. Just be yourself.

Hmm. They still think that's a real zinger of a killer fact, don't they? Quite remarkable.

Listen up, Britain! The people who get everything wrong say we can't leave the EU

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/artic ... z2jiXq3MrD" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So according to Lawson a group that represents thousands of businesses don't know what they are talking about when it comes to the EU. Lawson prefers to listen to swivelled eyed loons like Daniel Hannan. He thinks that if we leave the EU we could thrive in the same way that Switzerland does outside the EU! Because Britain is just like Switzerland.
