In a surprise development, Piers Morgan is still a cunt.

Somebody in the comments describe him as 'left wing'. Only a Daily Mail reader could possibly consider Piers as a lefty.

Piers Morgan is using his Daily Mail column to tell readers not to listen to Russell Brand and Steve Coogan. When he was editor of the Mirror he was so interested to hear the views of celebrities such as Coogan and Brand that he 'allegedly' got people to hack their phones.

Five years ago when Brand wasn't an activist, marrying a vapid pop star and on the verge of a mega Hollywood career in shit comedies I remember one obsequious TV interviewer on ITV who was fawning over his every word. I wonder if Morgan can remember who this twat was.

He's been having a go at Star Wars, and inevitably there are calls for him to be fed to the Sarlacc.

So, that's a multi billion dollar film series, that has brought enjoyment to untold numbers of people (Jar Jar Banks excepted), launched the career of one of the biggest movie stars in the world, won plaudits, is regularly in the top 5 of greatest films ever polls, and a high proportion of which is filmed and created in the UK, creating jobs and boosting the economy.....

....criticised by a man hosting a show which gets all excited about a glorified karaoke show and asking which failed soap opera actress will have to eat an unspeakable part of an animal for a staged TV show in a supposed jungle.

Read a lovely article on Cracked about Star Wars, comparing the films to Santa. It goes like this:

When you're a kid, you love Star Wars/Santa, because it's your first taste of sheer escapism and magic. How does the force work, how does Santa get round the entire world? It/he just does, and we accept it. Then as we get older, we learn that they're actually comprised of all sorts of older traditions and sources, and are actually a fairly cynical marketing exercise, a sort of 'greatest hits' package. You curse yourself for ever being taken in, and mock those who still believe well into their adulthood. Then it comes round again and you see how captivated kids are, and it all makes sense and you see the point behind it all and you can enjoy it again.

Meanwhile, Piers Morgan is still a cunt.

Calling Ewan McGregor a "pedophile-loving hypocrite" in the mail. That's not gonna come cheap.

I believe that the term the kids use is "pwned".
