I know nothing about the Mail agony aunt who has been around for years but hasn't had a thread. She's a bit of outlier in the Mail she's not unpleasant or nasty, offers dull sensible advice and doesn't gob off in the media talking reactionary shite to raise her profile.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, advises Zelda, strike while the iron's hot but look before you leap.
For the past few months during my morning jog I have exchanged smiles and hellos with an attractive woman standing at the bus stop. I wish she could see me in my smart clothes rather than jogging gear. Can you think of ways I could coincidentally bump into her or advise me on how to approach her?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Ultimately you don’t have anything to lose so a simple, direct approach is best. You don’t want to play games or bump into her ‘coincidentally’ – she would probably see straight through that. So try to pluck up courage, stop and tell her that she has a really nice smile and you wondered if she would like to go for a coffee with you one day when you are not so scruffy (and possibly sweaty)! She can only say no (and you can change your jogging route for a while), but if you don’t ask her out, or at least stop and chat, you will never know and you could be missing a wonderful opportunity.
