So, thick, then?
Ooh, don't say that to a Leaver - they get well offended if you do.
See, that is interesting. It's probably true, or if it's not precisely accurate, it's certainly counter-productive
to describe a considerable portion of the numpties that voted Leave as thick.

But the fact is, it is alost certainly absolutely accurate. A lot of them really ARE thick. I've certainly spoken to more than a few thickos.

As for taking offence at that, it's interesting to note that quite a few of these types of people are also those who complain vociferously about "PC gorn mad" in their annoyance at not being able to refer to Sir Trevor MacDonald as a nig-nog any more.

My approach now is to emphasise that people were mis-led. In other words, in answering the simple binary question of do you want to Leave the EU or Remain a member?, they really DID "know exactly what they were voting for" - so there is no insult there, as far as it goes. It's just that nobody could know then, or was ever properly informed about exactly what the consequences of leaving were. But we do now - so let's drop all this talk of an affront to democracy.
