Wow. Just... wow. And the story is still up on the Mail's website as I write this, with three comments so far.

I suppose it will eventually quietly disappear and the Mail will pretend it never existed.

What's most interesting is that I, and I imagine a fair few other people, submitted comments correcting the error. I didnt expect it to get through, but surely they would correct it?

Morons!

They don't correct errors unless they get told to by someone who can take money off them, even if they know 100% it is an error. Same with The Metro, another of their papers.

Personally I hope they leave it up, it helps show what dipshits they are and how they don't bother with trivial things like fact checking.

This isn't some form of viral marketing thing that they've fallen for, is it?

That would hold a certain amount of irony.

BAN THESE SICK GAMES... one of which we accidently promoted. Oopsie.

The Mail continues to feature some piss poor photoshoppery. Check out this page: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -polo.html

Take a look at the first photo. That's got to be photoshopped, right? Well, scroll down just a couple of paragraphs, and there's the original staring you in the face! Who puts this shit together?

Edit: Bonus fuck-up. Scroll down to the end of the story and you get this:

Bloody Romans coming over here expecting us to speak Latin.

Horace est in horto = Horace is in the garden
Horace est in servo = Horace is in the slave

Not sure if my declension is correct as it's been a while and tempus fugit.

For those who don't know, Lorem Ipsum is placeholder text. It's usually used to show what normal text would look like in a website design.
http://www.lipsum.com/

Surely someone at mail towers looked at those two images and thought "hmm, you know, someone's gonna notice".
