I'd rather listen to a cat being sick than have to endure a nauseating lecture from a rap person, originally called Michael.

Clearly Mr Spag Bol was secretly hoping that Dave The Rapper, who is really rather good, was headlining.

So the Mail thought it was a jolly fun idea to send a reporter wearing an "I love Brexit" T shirt. Duly gets outed, twitter account duly locked.

"The Londoner who wished to stay anonymous, " Joe Pinkstone. The same Joe Pinkstone who wrote the article.

Tristan McKenna, London, United Kingdom, 4 hours ago

The Anonymous Londoner in this 'article' isn't just a daily mail employee - it's Joe Pinkstone himself who wrote the article! He made the while thing up to get some publicity and whip all the readers on here into a remain hating frenzy. Hilarious - always the first to scream Fake News at the moderate right through to the left when they are the biggest creators of it.

Why doesn't the story spell out that the man in the tshirt is a Daily Mail employee?

A-Level results day!

Kids jumping in the air and Mailites sneering about how easy exams are these days.

A-level students get lowest number of A* and A grades in 12 YEARS with girls doing better than boys - while record levels of non-EU pupils win places at UK universities including 32% more from China

55% to get an A grade in maths? That's just ridiculous. That's just over half the questions correct. Talk about dumbing down. What do you have to get to achieve an A*? 60%? There are just no more words for this dumbing down of education

Soon our exam and university placing systems will become so distorted that the genuinely clever pupils will shun university leaving them populated by the less able intellectually challenged. All this because of dumbing down A levels and University degrees - which are 10 a penny in nonsense subjects. Our Universities are now businesses rather than places of learning and as such have to attract "customers" - no matter their ability. Just bums on seats - doesn't matter what they turn out they will just keep dumbing down and dumbing down so that everyone gets a degree. These once mighty institutions brought down to factory production lines -- thanks to Tony Blair.

And you need just 53% to get the equivalent of an A. And 13% to pass. Pathetic.

A levels get easier and easier. Maybe schools should go back to teaching pupils about subjects rather than whatever socialist agenda is , in , at the time .

Do you think 'Normal Girl' is up for a discussion of grade boundaries in norm-referenced and criteria referenced assessment systems? The maths can get a bit stringy.

Or National Curriculum Level 2 Literacy?

[A thought - what would teaching about subjects entail? Curriculum theory and planning? Content design? Metacognition? Asking for a friend.]

I don't think any of them would back up their ego and sit these supposedly easier exams to prove their point.

No-one seems to be able to correlate the drop in A Level entries in Maths and English with Goves drive for 'rigour' in GCSE in those subjects two years ago.

But then, that was the idea.

I was going to write something about social mobility, education and class, race and achievement and establishment elitism, but then I though 'what's the point'? The bastards have got it stitched tight.

Look, those bloody kids can't do long division on paper and use calculators for everything, and that means I'm smarter, end of.
