Hi, Billy. :D Why not pop into the introductions thread and tell us a little about yourself? The sausage question is bound to crop up, but we're all chums here.

Now.... if you took just the URL at face value, it'd be "WHAAAAAATTT????!!!!11!"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... spree.html

But no. Instead there is some very tenuous linkage between 4472/60103 and the vandalising of two carriages on the Severn Valley Railway. I dare not read the BTL comments, but I suspect they match some of the comments I've read on railway forums - "country's too soft", "too much PC", "bring back capital [sic] punishment"...

I don't even want to think about what effect some of those comments has on whoever wrote them.

I've seen the comments on the Model Railway forum - ranging from hanging to the reintroduction of national service through birching and caning...

Then someone suggests that national service is rather a double-edged sword and the whole thing gets locked down.

I actually blame Banksy - one of the graffito was his name, very large - and the chattering classes making this form of vandalism acceptable.

Whole-heartedly agree about Banksy. You wanna be clever? Do it on paper, like everyone else because were I in a situation where Banksy had done a property I owned, it'd be covered up/removed with no notice.

I'm sure our NI correspondents will enlighten us but yes, it must have been great fun to wake up one morning and find you'd got a mural on your end wall.
