The "new" world we live in, "guy" is stretching his arms during a flight as a woman is walking past and his hand brushes against her calf and....."OMG I'VE BEEN BATTERED!"

Such spoiled and indulged people some Americans have become. The police should drop their murder investigation to pursue this guy and anyone who breathes on you wrong. System broken? You're right, they should clone more police officers to gently tend to 'My Lady's' daily needs.

Battery.. Okay.. getting really sick of these stories. There is people out there who have experience serious harm done by others that can be accurately classified as sexual assault, this is an insult to them.

Mail hires former barrister Glenda to sneer at women who retain their maiden name and continue working in law after kids. Laura Perrins, the media's favourite stay-at-home mother.

Turns out the author was (a) working and (b) under her maiden name all along.

Needless to say the comments are along the lines of "woman know your place" and BBC bashing.

From the Salut! Sunderland Facebook page:
A report says Moyes did not seem to be joking when he boorishly told a BBC woman she might "get a slap" for, well, asking a perfectly legitimate question. The report must be true: he's been accused of many things, has our David, but never joking.

I hadn't realised it but there's a bit of a battle going on between The Mail and Today Show's Karl Stefanovic.

He tore them a new one while on air about them constantly shaming women.

Worth watching the video:

Today Show host takes aim at Daily Mail after colleague leaves in tears – video
https://www.theguardian.com/media/video ... ears-video

Then the Mail respond:

Plummeting ratings, bizarre criticism of his network's coverage and now more humiliation for Karl Stefanovic as his OWN bosses cut him off mid-rant to go to an ad break

So it's been a week or so since The Mail fought for women's rights to wear skimpy clothing on the F1 grid and be objectified. All that outrage at these women being told what to wear. All those horrible lefties stopping women from doing what they want.

We're back to normal again now, though:

What WOULD the Suffragettes make of their racy relations? How descendants of those who fought to give women the vote have chosen to make their career on the catwalk

They would weep tears of shame and wonder if their endeavors were worth it. The suffragettes had dignity, courage and a noble spirit, traits that are blatantly lacking in most of these young women. Kudos however, to the Pankhurst girls.

Who are defending the men here. Women can say what they like and no one asks for any proof. The women have been pointing fingers all over the place . It is almost like the Salem witch trials.

I am a woman and not a feminist. Equality is the right of all people, not just women. I also chose to believe victims because of evidence, not accusations. The me too campaign is embarrassing and malicious.

The whole equality thing will go full circle. I give it about one generation before women start complaining about being treated the same as men and start demanding we recognise their differences.

Picture this. A good looking eligible guy walks into a bar and notices a group of girls who are also fairly good looking and dare I say attractive too. He goes to the bar orders himself a drink and then ponders what chat up libe or move he could make. What doez he do? He drinks his drink and leaves Thats what he does. Its not worth the bad press in ten years time.

Mailites really ought to take a closer look at Sylvia Pankhurst's biog.
Dignity, courage and noble spirit indeed, but stood against everything that the mailites hold dear.
