Naked anger: Amanda Palmer attacks Daily Mail in nude song

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-enter ... 10090.html
During her show at London’s Roundhouse at the weekend, Palmer (right) responded by singing a new song, “Daily Mail”, that included the lyrics, “It’s so sad what you tabloids are doing/ Your focus on debasing women’s appearances/ Devolves our species of humans”. Halfway through, Palmer instructs the newspaper that if it had bothered to Google her, it would have found much more graphic photos of her. She then dropped her kimono and performed the rest of the song naked.

"Frankly before this pointless furore I had no idea who Amanda Palmer was - I just wish I can turn back the clock."

You want to turn back the clock to your ignorance? Don't worry you've not left most of it behind.

Now that's a succinct slapdown.

Disturbing phrasing in today's sidebar where, in a plug for Vogue magazine, someone called Miranda Kerr "flaunts her sizzling cleavage". Friction burns from a cheap bra, I reckon.

The story goes on to inform us that "whilst previous shoots have focused on her hot legs or toned stomach, this spread draws all eyes to her sizzling bust." Fashion is all about diversity! She has even posed "with a naked derriere" — presumably her own, unless it was some kind of surrealist homage. But all this getting undressed is not without purpose: as long as she keeps showing us her burning boobs, Miranda "won't be single for long!"

For once, the Mail hasn't just cut and pasted a press release, it has added its own gushing advertorial in praise of the bikini Miranda is wearing (an item of clothing that it advises us is "better suited to the beach".) In a tone that falls somewhere between Wikipedia and Newsround, this text offers a tweet-sized history of paisley, "a classic print that originates from Persia (now Iran) and has been in use there since AD224". In case that was too boring and factual for you, it is then explained in the proper language of fashion journalism: "now that's old skool."

PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: Orange Is the New Black's Natasha Lyonne suffers nip-slip on Brazilian beach alongside two of her bikini-clad co-stars

How does the Daily Mail react to her "suffering"? With naked contempt for her privacy and agency, of course!
The 36-year-old Emmy nominee was spotted rearranging her halter top after misjudging the strength of the São Paulo surf.

Coincidentally, Natasha just addressed the fact that she's never appeared topless onscreen last month.

'I always felt like saving my t**s for the right thing to come along, and it never happened,' the former wild child told Playboy.
Well it has now, in the form of a Daily Mail PICTURE EXCLUSIVE!! For which she won't get paid a penny!!

Quite aside from the fact that the beach is in Rio, not Sao Paulo, the Mail's article is even more badly written than usual:
The New York native went make-up free and showcased her alabaster body
The show is "the binge-watching favourite", actor Samira Wiley is "the buzzcut beauty", and Uzo Aduba "the Broadway thespian" has "powerful, muscular legs leftover from her athletic past as a track star while attending Boston University." And they all look delighted to be stalked:

Why do DM go to the trouble of buying grossly intrusive photos of someone genuinely having a nip slip, and then block them out wih a tiny blak dot. Just don't bother!

Fat but I'd still wreck her.

Kelly Rohrbach and her 32C cleavage come to the rescue of drowned mother on the Tybee Island set of Baywatch

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/ar ... watch.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The relevance of the size of her cleavage to the story remains unclear.

FWIW this is not an actual "drowned mother" as it's part of the Baywatch film, so may just be a puff piece.
