So Mo Farrah does it again, even taking a fall in his stride (so to speak).
Quite outstanding performance.

But wait, he's a Muzzie and an immagrunt.

Very mealy-mouthed coverage...

Never forget their hypocritical and disgusting volte-face in 2012.

'It's shit and all thse fake Brits are insidious and PC and rubbish'
*whole country falls in love with the Olympics, British athletes achieve unprecedented success*
'We love it, hurrah for Farah and Ennis!'

But let's face it, the Mail has never really liked the Olympics.

* All those people form poor countries.
* All those sports that poor people are allowed to play - some from state schools.
* Too many darkies.
* And before the darkies it was the jews.

Jeez, there's some vile there. And thick. One believes that the photo was taken in Rio, which is a failure as an Olympics because the stadium is empty and that Sadiq was flown there at the taxpayer's expense. That's stupid even by the standards of The Troll.

An interesting story about how the Mail covered the women's pursuit Gold medal. There were four members of the team but on two of the riders featured on the Mails front page.

http://rochdaleherald.co.uk/breaking-ne ... rom-cover/

They chose not to feature a picture of a rider who has alopecia.

The article is a spoof but it is a fact that the rider was excluded.

Don't tell them but there is a refugee team.

Whilst most of Britain is talking about the Olympics and enjoying it, trust this shithawk of a newspaper to have a moan. As for Khan changing his picture, isn't that what most people would do, if I had a picture with Mo I'd probably have changed it on Saturday, same goes any of the medallists.

They love it as long as it's about their two main staples - predominantly white British triumphalism* and perving over girls.

*Both in its most basic "Yay, we're the best!" form, or the more subtle "Look at those ghastly foreigners overdoing it, not like us reserved Brits" manner.

There was a horrible nudge-nudge headline last week relating to our synchronised diving gold medallists. They badly misread their readership and it was very quickly changed.

It's noticeable that the good news Olympics stories seem to appear consistently half way down the page on the website. However, when they wanted to have a go at Lewis for the crime of being brown and a bit disappointed at coming second, that was a banner right across the top of the page.

But it's good fun winding up the commenters who claim that yesterday's crop of medals is all down to Brexit. They can't compute the facts that (a) Brexit hasn't happened yet; (b) if anything all the good stuff is down to Brexit, at least inasmuch as EU money frees up lottery money to be put towards sport; and (c) for sure we won't have this level of funding easily available post Brexit.

ROBERT HARDMAN: The best thing about these glorious Games? They've made us a United Kingdom again

For the rest of the week. Any such effect after the London Olympics didn't last long. And apart from the media, are many people that interested?

They completely missed the point that one team was hoping for a medal and got the Gold, while the other had got Bronze I think and yet probably had that event down as gold.

Regardless one of them got Gold and one didn't....
