Does anyone care if these programmes are removed? There is too much one-sided news from the BBC, in fact would anyone miss paying their licence if the BBC were finished altogether?

Climate change on every bulletin without fail never mention the Riots in France. The BBC is now a political mouthpiece for the EU who successfully bribed them. Every program is either anti Trump anti Brexit pro Immigration even Dr Who. It's ridiculous and completely unwatchable

Everything is just going to shit, isn't it? They're getting their way on everything. This isn't just about the BBC. This is symbolic of them trying tear down anything that doesn't fit their view.

I wonder how far things will sink before people start waking up to this shit show. When these same people who wanted all of this start suffering for their actions I urge you to show no sympathy. This is what they wanted and they deserve everything that's coming their way when they realise the sunlit uplands don't exist. I get the whole compassion and forgiveness argument...but fuck these people.

I was thinking this earlier and just assumed I must been missing something...because is this not exactly what was being proposed by Corbyn and dismissed as socialist bullshit? I really hope The Sun doesn't now try and spin this as a good thing.

This happened with something Ed Miliband proposed, too, but I can't remember what it was. I just remember him tweeting "If only I'd thought of that" or something.

Not sure about Miliband, but I have mentioned a few times:

NSPCC warns about domestic abuse on the rise: shocking, what have we become?
Harriet Harman warns about same thing: keep your nose out, what business is it of yours what goes on behind closed doors?

Miliband proposed compulsory purchase of empty homes: Mugabe style land grab.
Johnson proposed the same: good old sensible Boris.

Energy price capping, wasn't it?

Following in the footsteps of Gibb. Personally, I'm disappointed that the BBC axe didn't fall on the Today programme and shortened it by an hour. Hopefully once she leaves the new editor will bin that fucking quiz they have in the morning.

The only bit of R4 I like now is that bit between 05:20 and 06:00. Meanwhile, as the show ends, support for Victoria Derbyshire from Ed Balls.

A few Farming Today fans on this site due to some engaging and original reporting rather than a direct connection to agriculture.
Not a lot of goodwill for Sarah Sands on her thread. Quite a tirade from (ex) R4 listeners who haven’t been so angry since they moved the Archers time slot.

I’m sure that effing quiz was a suggestion from Sarah’s ideas workshop where they hand a ball around to speak.

Since the BBC moved up north, the entirety of the views of anywhere north of Birmingham seem to be represented by whoever's in 'Spoons or at the market in Bolton at 2pm.

It's always Bolton. The BBC know exactly what they're doing.

I can only recall one time where the reporter spoke to some "heartland" Remainers. It was in Blaenau Gwent. The name of this dogged newshound? Nick Clegg. He went down the local college and spoke to some young people.
Interviewing Leavers living in France and Spain to tell us they’re alright Jack is the latest BBC trolling. Clegg campaigned in Doncaster where there are no refugees registered but kept meeting locals who claimed there were thousands.
Newsnight bought a Remainer pottery worker from Stoke together with a hipster drip from North London who was a Leaver a couple years back. The pottery worker worried for her job but her work colleagues were obsessed by immigration. She’s rarely met any herself in Stoke and was baffled why they’d go there anyway.

That'll be the BBC trying to appeal to viewers outside London (the political reason behind the Salford move and nowt to do with Salford being the-then constituency of the PLP Chair, no Sirree).

It will be interesting to see what happens to my Uncles in the future - one owns property in Tenerife, the other is a frequent visitor to his brother.
