Jesus Christ.
Some may have sneered at the thought of Camilla passing on any advice to her future stepdaughter-in-law.
Who exactly?
Last, Kate must never play the fame game. Every charitable cause the world over will want her to attend the gala dinners, premieres and awards ceremonies that Diana so adored. She revelled in the attention and the celebrity friends she made along the way. But, ultimately, it was fame that destroyed her.
I thought it was some cunt journalists chasing her around Paris, myself.
In an act of pure spite, Nick Clegg is forcing Britain’s elite universities to take fixed quotas of students from poorer backgrounds — a step that is sure to send our top institutions, once the envy of the world, falling even further down the league tables.
Spite? She should know about that. There's some "middle class" bollocks in there too, as though that's who's going to Oxbridge at the moment.

She says something nice about a woman:
it’s a joy to see a fit and tanned Cameron Diaz emerging from the sea without a scrap of make-up
People usually emerge from the sea caked in makeup?

But you'll be glad to know that true service is resumed in the next paragraph:
She looks stunningly fit and healthy. It’s no wonder her new beau, the millionaire baseball star Alex Rodriguez, prefers her to his ex, Madonna — a woman with all the sex appeal of a piece of gristle.
But the best is this:
The rabid anti-capitalist film-maker Michael Moore, director of the global warming propaganda movie Fahrenheit 9/11, is suing his backers, Bob and Harvey Weinstein, claiming they cheated him out of £1.67  million in profits. And there was me thinking he did it to save the planet
She's muddling it up with An Inconvenient Truth, that's priceless.

Fahrenheit 9/11 was a global warming propaganda movie? Really? Could've fooled me, I thought it was about the illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq post 9/11. Maybe you should try watching the movie first before commenting on something about which you clearly know nothing?

Ah! Thank you. I'd not have got that in a million.
What a nasty little snob 'lisa' is.

Because "People we don't like" should all work for nothing, and it's OK to steal their stuff.

As far as the right are concerned, if a socialist is rich, they are a hypocrite or traitor. If they are poor, they are a loser. A bit like Atheists vs Religious Types really (where the religious type is either a hypocrite or a fundie nutter), or Pirates vs Ninjas (where the ninja is either a sneaky coward or a crap ninja).

I'm reminded of a news report on Obama's low approval ratings mid-term. Several people said that they were disappointed in him because he promised so much and didn't deliver. They said that Republicans would not promise so much, therefore their expectations of them were so much lower.

Bernard Ingham liked that argument. He said after the 1992 election that the arts should be paid for by donations from artists, because they were happy to pay higher taxes under Labour. Of course what they believed in was all rich people should pay higher taxes (for all sorts of things, not just arts).

Hear little "Westminster" bits are great, aren't they?
Yesterday, Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg made the case for the Alternative Vote (AV), claiming the current first-past-the-post system ‘left too many voices unheard’. What he meant was that it left fringe parties such as his without a voice.

AV is costly, and turns political pygmies such as Clegg into king-makers. The only unheard ‘voice’ Clegg is worried about is his own.
That'll be the Nick Clegg currently deputy prime minister under the current system. Does she think AV and PR are the same thing?
Twelve months ago, I wrote that Nick Herbert, then shadow spokesman on the environment, had given a speech in which he outlined the Tory Party’s intention to allow churches to marry gay couples.

He sent me a tart email categorically denying this. Now it’s clear I was right all along, and talks are underway to ensure gay couples can marry in religious buildings.

Just one question. Forget about misleading me . . . how are the talks about gay marriages progressing with the mosques, Mr Herbert?
Mosques being part of the established church.

+ She barely survived Nannygate, when she was accused of paying her nanny out of her parliamentary staffing allowance. She was shamed by Taxigate, when she was caught catching a cab 500 yards to work from her £3  million Westminster home, despite Dave’s taxi ban.

Now Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman has had to make a spectacularly humiliating climbdown, abandoning the Coalition’s plan to sell off government-owned forests. Is she about to be felled herself?
Funny she picks on a woman. Has she noticed Gove's performance?

Jeebus. Nannygate, Taxigate, Wanking-into-a-pant-drawer-gate (I made that last one up, but what's good enough for Amanda is good enough for me). Everything's a fucking gate these days. Haldeman and Erlichman have a lot to answer for.
