A thread for actual, genuine posts on other social media by members of The Cult of Corbyn.

I need hardly add that the qualifying criterion for inclusion is that they beggar belief.

Here's your starter, from Facebook :

Anyone else find it odd how Tom Watson suddenly lost weight, became very media savvy and anti Corbyn all at the same time?

Aye. Suddenly media-savvy. The man who could make Leveson fly didn't know how to work that shit before now?

I do not expect these fuckers to agree with me, but it would be nice if they could agree with objective bastard reality.

I made that very point on the thread in question...to date I've been ignored.
It's nothing personal, it's the Rickenbacker, We've moved on ;-)

So have I. I'm on a post '66 Epiphone Casino now.

NB I meant I made the comment on the FB thread, not here btw.

Just had a 'conversation' with an ex-pupil Facebook friend who loves Jezza. He is telling me that the charges of antismitism are just smears. I disagree. He asks who I would prefer as Labour kleader, I say Yvette Cooper. He says he's heard the name but knows nothing about her.

I think that's pretty typical of the three-quid Trots. No knowledge of the party beyond Saint Jez.

Eh? I think perhaps you've missed the point of the thread, Mr Angel.
How so?
Is Mr Delaney particularly associated with The Cult? No.

Is what he has to say about the Tories and the NHS inaccurate, or fatuous, or outlandish? No.

Just engage your brain, there's a good chap.

Mr Delaney is pretty red, but I don't think he's exactly cult material. Fairly sure he's pro-Corbyn and all, but I don't recall much fawning silliness.

In truth, he seems a very reasonable bloke, who's been through some fairly horrible shit in his time. Recovering addict as well.

It seems to be their go to question, I used to list about 10 people and they would select one and slate that person, now I just state that spare plant pot should be hanging around unless Formby has had to sell them all.

The fact is 2/3rds if not more could do a better job than Jeremy Corbyn, electoral arithmetic and history suggests he should be the largest party in the next election, my guess is he will remain static. If Ed had ran against May he would in my view have been far closer.

The question is not, who could do a better job than Corbyn? but who couldn't, and try and eradicate them from running next time.

I did not see Newsnight this evening but it seems that Labour was asked to put forward a spokes-person for a discussion about the latest developments in the Brexit saga, but declined to do so.

Emily Maitlis informed viewers of this, but is now being slated for "BBC bias" simply for doing so by The Cult :
Yet again Emily on BBC2 Newsnight knifes Labour on national tv - isn’t it time Aunty BBC sacked reporters who can’t be impartial?
Probably not putting people on due to shameless bias
I don't think we have any obligation to fulfil the mainstream media requirements.
after last week’s appalling lack of control by the interviewer, no wonder Labour didn’t put anyone on tonight!

See also reports that Caroline Lucas, Liz Saville-Roberts, Ian Blackford, and Vince Cable all turned up for a scheduled meeting with Jez to try and work out what to do next on a cross-party basis...and he just didn't show up.

Incidentally, have any of the shadow front bench said anything about Bercow's actions? The back benches seemed to be having great fun skewering poor old Kwasi Kwarteng yesterday, but apart from Pennycook responding, I haven't seen anything.
