The best bit of all this - aside from when he's rightly banged up for rape in a cell that, ironically, will probably be bigger and better equipped than where he's been for 8 years - will come when Assange, who will do ANYTHING to avoid being accountable, goes into full plea bargain mode to save his own arse.

Apparently, yes. WATO has just said the Swedish prosecutor is considering reopening the case. Vaughan Smith also defending him.

It appears the extradition request stems from a sealed federal grand jury indictment in 2010, for conspiracy (read: encouraging) to hack a government network. He egged Manning on, basically, to get more and more data. Apparently the maximum term for this offence is five years.
