THE SUN SAYS By branding Brexiteers ‘Nazis’, Labour MP David Lammy reveals how Europhile politicians really see Leave voters

LABOUR blowhard David Lammy has let the cat out of the bag.

By branding Brexiteers Nazis, he’s revealed how Europhile politicians really see Leave voters: as a bigoted mob who can’t be trusted to have a say in the future of their country.

Lammy absurdly claims that Remainers who want to compromise are guilty of appeasement, like the leaders who refused to confront Hitler.

Is he serious? There’s nothing “far right” about wanting Britain to be outside the EU. It’s not “fascism” to think we’re better off making our own laws than following rules set in Brussels.

Dismissing your opponents as extremists without actually engaging with them is a surefire way to lose the argument.

Pro-EU hardliners think they can win just by smearing Leavers as racists. They should look in the mirror — and realise that they’re the intolerant ones.

And....(this is one of my many long running bug bears with the S*n).....they have the nerve to call out teachers for the failure of some children in having a proper grasp of the use of language
Murdoch would probably consider that horribly elitist anyway

Bit odd, this. So The Sun correctly states:
Of course every defendant should be able to bid for funds to fight their legal corner.
But follows it up with:
But this is an absurd decision.
And proceeds to spend the rest of the editorial arguing against themselves.

THE SUN SAYS Shamima Begum’s hatred of Britain is clear for all to see — keep her out

SHAMIMA Begum’s hatred of this country is clear for all to see.

And Home Secretary Sajid Javid is right to ensure that it’s not her country any more, after he stripped her of her citizenship.

The bleating lefties who complained about his move at the time have gone very quiet as it appears she wasn’t the harmless stay-at-home wife she portrayed herself to be, but an accessory to suicide bombings and brutal repression.

It is no surprise, then, that her bid for legal aid has repulsed and revolted so many law-abiding Brits.

Of course every defendant should be able to bid for funds to fight their legal corner.

But this is an absurd decision.

Dishing out cash to this hate-filled extremist sticks in the throat when victims of IRA bombings and military veterans have not been given the same treatment.

The Legal Aid Agency’s priorities are, clearly, completely out of whack.

Begum’s immigration case is expected to last years — and if this decision isn’t reversed, the bill will go up day by day.

The Government owes it to taxpayers to do everything it can to bring this case to a speedy conclusion, and a conclusion that keeps us safe.

She can never be allowed to set foot on these shores again.

Take a hike, PM

IN THE coming months, Westminster’s power struggles could make Game of Thrones look like child’s play.

One thing, however, is abundantly clear. This zombie PM cannot simply hang on until Christmas.

As she enjoys her walking holiday — not as if there’s anything to do in Westminster, after all — she must reflect on the fact that her promises no longer count for anything, with the public or her party.

Backbenchers on all sides are in open revolt, and with every day she stays in Downing Street morale in
the grassroots of the Tory party slides further.

We admire her toughness but the country needs more.

Only a new face can hope to drive a deal through Parliament. Failing to do so could lead to a Corbyn Government.

The PM’s race has run. She must name a date for her departure.

Hold on a second, wasn't that long ago we were told there were no victims of military veterans, and even if there were, they probably deserved it?

Or perhaps I'm reading it wrong.

It can certainly be read both ways.

Just like Rod Liddle, The Sun resort to childish insults when it comes to the climate change protesters:

*middle-class morons
*A pompous double-barrelled halfwit barely out of public school
*A crank
*sandals-and-socks brigade
*these cretins

THE SUN SAYS It’s time for cops to stop indulging the middle-class morons bringing disruption to Britain’s streets

EVEN by the standards of the loonies who make up most green movements, the middle-class morons bringing disruption to Britain this week are a special breed.

As self-defeating campaign tactics go, shutting down (environmentally friendly) public transport in our biggest cities is right up there. What next?

Chaining themselves to wind turbines so they can’t spin round? Dumping plastic bottles in the Thames to protest against ocean pollution?

The leaders of this “movement” are exactly who you’d expect.

A pompous double-barrelled halfwit barely out of public school who stormed out of a Sky News interview because he didn’t like a question he was asked.

A crank who is convinced psychedelic drugs gave her “the codes of social change”.

Predictably, the sandals-and-socks brigade are almost all fully pledged to the Corbyn cause.

The fact is that Britain has a good story to tell on “going green” — in truth we’re doing as much as anywhere, if not more. Emissions are down 44 per cent since 1990.

The police have indulged these cretins for long enough.

Time to get our country back up and running.
