Apparently he was actively campaigning right outside the polling station, and got into a verbal altercation with a chap on a bike, who then went off to buy the milkshake before drenching said veteran. This isn't a case of an innocent old man quietly exercising his right to vote, he's illegally camped up right outside a polling station and actively campaigned. I'm not a fan of this milkshaking trend, but if either of them belongs in handcuffs, it's the milkshakee in this instance.

Took a swing at Reverend Green in the library with the lead pencil. Scottish Greens, apparently. Described by an old friend as the recycling wing of the SNP.

Couldn't vote Labour while they're on the fence and polling suggests the Lib Dems are nowhere near a seat in Scotland. SNP seem set to get three seats quite comfortably but nowhere near four, sooo...

All we can do now is wait and hope that total Remain seats > total Leave seats.

Another Milkshake Attack. This time on a veteran.
Hmm. Given the age of the guy I'm not sure it was the right thing to do. I can understand it, but...

I notice he's holding a half eaten sandwich. Far be it from me to suggest an honest Brexiteer would lie but could he possibly have spilled said milkshake and sought to make political gain from it?

I'm pretty sure that actively campaigning outside a polling station is entirely legal. (Prepared to be put right on that, obviously.)

Military veteran who spent 22 years in Army was covered in milkshake today
The unnamed man was doused in the pink milkshake

I'm sure the neighbours will recognise the former SAS Lt-Colonel as he is known to them.

Bet you'd wish you'd listen to the corporal now

It appears that you are, in fact, quite correct. One thing the American voting system has over us.

Campaigning outside polling places

Campaigners should be allowed to put their messages to voters on polling day, including in public spaces outside polling places.
Campaigners should keep access to polling places and the pavements around polling places clear to allow voters to enter.

Change UK aren't on that list either. Whilst recently modified, the page and the accompanying PDF appear to have been first published quite some time ago.

Still registered at my parents place so I'm trekking over there to cast my vote, it's one of the outermost boroughs of Greater London so I'm not sure if it'll count as London or one of the regional areas.

Me da's probably hidden my polling card anyway in an effort to cease my left-wing onslaught

That is just so bad. Taught? Was he aiming for fought? Inversion? Invasion, anyone?
