He does unintentionally get right to the heart of it though. Labour won't do that, or anything else, because the only thing they can do from the position of weakness they are now in is sympathise.

You want to make changes, you have to be in office. And following an election entirely run to team Corbyn's wishes, Labour are further from that than they have been since the early 1980s.

Perhaps he could seal the deal by tweeting "the real fight starts now"?

Stretching things a bit by having former MPs, but can't resist this one.

Labour "let it slip from their fingers" by getting 165 fewer seats than Boris Johnson. "Slip through fingers" is Theresa May blowing her lead in 2017.

I can though resist listening to any of her speech. I am though slightly impressed she's still going at all. I keep expecting to read that she and Ian Lavery have been hospitalized by too many people slapping them on the back for being "good socialists".

I doubt Dan Jarvis was there. Is he challenging a Republican incumbent for Congress?
A story of heartbreak, misery, tragedy and brutal violence set against a backdrop of impending doom. And that's just the Corbyn years.

Lavery’s tweet sums up Corbynism perfectly. Endless carping on about what they wanted to do and how much they regret they can’t do it, no responsibility taken for their rejection of opportunities when presented with ways to get the vast majority of it done.

They’d rather scold people about their behaviour meaning they missed out on what they could have won, than actually win.

Lavery would have been an ideal contestant on Bullseye. Perhaps he actually was......
