Said it before but will say it again, imagine if we had a less ideologically driven opposition which would send it's Shadow Chancellor round the boardrooms of as many businesses as they could find and say "back us, we'll increase your tax but also not go through with all this shit". They'd clean up.

It's the way many in tech are encouraged to operate. Set up a limited company. Take a salary below the level at which you pay PAYE - even NI if you wish-and the rest of your earnings in dividends. Share dividends are taxed at a low rate, and corporation tax is low too. So many people did this it led to the introduction of IR35.

And... it's all completely legal. All those new businesses Condom-face used to bray about? People who got made redundant from ordinary jobs who then sought the advice of accountants, set themselves up as a one-man band and bingo! Watch your tax bill fall.

Okay, no sick pay, no paid leave but hey...

Can you believe this prick? Johnny Foreigner is not up to diplomacy and 27 countries agreeing to a common position is 'bureaucratic inertia'. Everything is the fault of Ireland and the EU as they are controlling events. The German car industry would come to rescue but Varadker is vetoing it with his statecraft failure.

It's not just the EU who don't understand what's going on in British politics right now.

I sure don't. Does anyone really know what's going on? Even those involved don't seem to have a clue.

After wrecking the economy Jeremy Hunt is to expand the military by 25% ready to join Trump's war in Iran.
We're unlikely to find out whether he expands the military, or sends another bung to 3rd party "solutions providers" to teach newly minted Corporals Sic Sigma theory (and the like).

No shortage of grads setting up limited companies. Keep your salary low and you don’t have to pay student debt.
Hire 10 mates on 2 hrs per week and pick up a growth incentive.
Same 10 mates all employing you and 9 others for 2 hours per week.

Holy carp! Amongst stiff competition, Hunt's going for CotD big time on #Marr

If fox hunting, then why not hare coursing; badger and bear baiting.
