Courts shouldn’t be allowed to declare executive decisions illegal, claims Michael Green. If Brexiters wanted to prove their correct observation that the EU is not just a Common Market then carry on attacking an independent judiciary and the ECHR. Wave good bye to extradition, security sharing or any meaningful trade deal.

I thought the EU Citizens gates were still available until the end of the transition period?
Could be that they only has the Schengen and Rest lanes open.

Them cloggies treat their coffee breaks like a religious holiday and will not be denied by stuff like customers.
I saw one lady at the Schiphol station ticket booth announce to her queue "I am closing now for fifteen minutes", pulled down the blind and sat behind it drinking her coffee and reading a paperback.

Much confusion among the recently arrived tourists seekign rail tickets to points across Europe.

The whole think looks to be bollocks

To the top-left, we see the EU, CH, and UK flags. That would suggest that our Colin is actually leaving the Schengen area and moving in to the long-haul part of Schiphol.

If Colin, being from Leicester, wants to fly intercontinental, there is every chance that he is travelling from EMA via Schipol and then onwards through the electronic passport gates which are clearly visible in the shot.

If that's the case, A; he is probably still in the air and won't believe how this has blown up, and B; doesn't realise that other countries' borders never has had anything to do with the UK and never will.

I seem to recall CdG airport can be the same...
Try Rome Fiumicino for size. Sometimes, there is nothing else for it other than to go and stand under the huge No Smoking signs and have a fag with the cops.

If you’re on a budget flight to Schipol your slot is a mile away from the exit. Harwich ferry or train for me.
Yes, when you arrive at Schiphol you definitely don't want to hear the word Polderbaan - you'll be taxiing for about a week. Quite often I'll get the train to Amsterdam then the overnight boat to Newcastle.

And when I went through ZRH on Monday (it was supposed to be Sunday but Swiss gave up due to Ciara) there were no problems going through the auto gates. (or the normal gates going into the D dock when I went out. )

I'm in a group on Facebook about 70s football and, recently, someone put a picture of Gary Lineker on, when he had just signed for Leicester.

It unleashed a tidal wave of rants from leave voting gammon and eventually the admins had to delete dozens of posts.

These people make me despair

I've had it confirmed that the Schiphol story is complete bollocks by my aforementioned associates. They breezed through immigration, heading through the queue marked EU which also had the UK flag next to it, as a temporary measure to be no doubt removed at the end of the year.
