So are they now going to say that the police are lying?

Saying a police officer is lying is a very serious accusation. They had better make sure their story is watertight.

More likely Durham will have a new Chief Constable by July.

I thought Geoffrey Cox was bad, seems to have found someone even worse.

I’m in two minds, I saw a Vicar swearing about him before, this won’t go down well. And yeah that response is Trumpesque.

Should have used fake news just to avoid any doubt, the shit really hits the fan when we have a second wave, how can the Government go to the nation and say “you must do this”, the credibility is shot.

From a friend on Facebook:
Have you seen what Sophy Ridge has done? It s genius. Schnapps is on Sky tomorrow so she s given him the questions she s going to ask in advance, publicly, so that he can t say he doesn t know. Hopefully this has fucked up Johnson s holiday

Post deleted to avoid problems from The Man.
This worked for me...
Google search for the story

Click on the little down arrow click on Cached. A page will open in this case stating page not found, but go to the top and click on "text only"

And if by magic the story appears :grinning:

As this is through Google I'm pretty sure posting this is not a copyright issue.

"Boris tries to save Dominic Cummings' job by declaring 'it's not like he was visiting a lover' as maverick ally is accused of visiting parents' Durham home a SECOND time and breaking lockdown rules by 'strolling in bluebell wood' with his wife"

WTF. Just speechless

Hmmm. When you've lost the Mail readers maybe your days are numbered after all.

Allegations on Twitter that he was seen in Durham on 10th May.

Evidence is a Tweet to Laura Kuensberg asking her to question it at the daily briefing.

I wish someone had a picture - but then, perhaps there will be another 'gotcha'.

Sophy Ridge's questions to Grant Shapps tomorrow:

When did Mr Cummings first display symptoms?
On what date did he travel to Durham?
Did he stop on the journey? If so, did he comply with the 2m rule at all times?
When was the Prime Minister made aware that he had made this journey?
Did Mr Cummings remain in self-isolation for the duration of his time in Durham?
Did he only make one trip, or multiple?

And when did you stop beating your wife...

Viruses are known to only spread from those of sufficient moral depravity, of course.

Plenty of talk that the rank and file Tory MPs are as hopping mad as the rest of us. (Although it would be nice if one of them came out and said it.) Wonder if the 1922 committee might want a word with Johnson.
