I give up. I despair of these stupid twats. Let's just give the Tories a bye come the next election.
It's almost as if they deliberately go out of their way to choose the most irrelevant, vote-losing cause to fight their battles.

I think it's symptomatic of the left in general. The economy and social policies are where I think the left are right, excuse the pun. However, under Thatchcunt, they were defeated economically and an alien right wing American ideology was imposed on us. After the defeat of the unions and the working class became fragmented, the left gave up on the economy and started obsessing over stupid shit like this instead.

It's anathema to 99% of the traditional support base (me included) and it got worse under Corbyn. The only way to regain credibility is to purge the party of these dick cheeses.

I think this student politics dick head element did get marginalised under Blair, but, sadly, after a promising start, Iraq undermined his administration, in much the same way that Vietnam did for Lyndon Johnson, that and going down the road of money wasting crackpot schemes like casinos and id cards etc.

In opposition, more so Corbyns leadership, it gained ground again and we are in similar territory to where we were when Neil Kinnock had to get rid of a lot of imbeciles.

Where do we go from here?

That's because under Blair we had grown-ups in charge.

What a bunch of fucking idiots.

The whole point of the (genuinely) right-wing, anti transgender crowd is that trans people mentally ill, delusional, believe in a complete fiction etc.

They then go and come up with stupid shit like this, giving them ammunition and proving them completely right, conforming to every stereotype of emotionally unhinged, delusional fools, who believe in something completely false.

Well done, you fucking morons.

These idiots will give the Tories the next election.

I've just started reading her latest - Troubled Blood. The murderer is a slight man, a rapist and murderer, who approaches his victims in a woman's coat to allay their suspicions. Hardly a question that would trouble a genuine trans person, I would think, as it has been used as a dramatic device in the past (Psycho, Dressed to Kill, anybody?), and no-one complained, just saw it as an example of the perpetrator's manipulative character.

As in our late unlamented modulator I suspect this tells you more about the complainers than the complainee.

In which Thomas Harris took pains to point out that Bill wasn't trans - he thought he was, but was completely fucked in the head. His behaviour was at odds with everything known about transpeople.
