Labour voted for the ERM and Tories the Iraq War in opposition. No one remembers or apportioned blame to them. Voters in Red Wall seats may confuse abstention with voting for No Deal and blame Labour for losing their jobs, doesn’t sound like a convincing reason to vote for the deal. Which happens regardless of Labour’s actions.

Hard right tax cutters don’t let deficits get in their way especially when the welfare scroungers can help pay for them. Can’t see Sunak having Keith Joseph’s intellectual rigour or certainty (the Mad Monk of Monetarism).
