If the deal gets universal support he can walk away claiming to have achieved the impossible ad if the deal turns out to be a damp squib he can claim he tried his best but was stifled by the EU bureaucracy and walk away claiming that he is exhausted and struggling with long covid.

I don’t see that, a bare bones will reignite civil war with the Brexit ultras. While No Deal is a catastrophe especially when you’ve ‘taken back control.’

I think that most Brexiters will keep quiet after the event. If you're the MP for a run down fishing port and the deal doesn't deliver for your area, you'll have less room to hide than if you're MP for a regular Tory seat.
