Anybody follow “Another Angry Voice”, or “Another Angry Wank” as I can’t help calling him?

Like Squealer Jones, Tom Clark has a pathological hatred of the current leader of the Labour Party, Sir Keir Starmer, and has been writing screeds and screeds of frankly unhinged diatribes all but proclaiming Starmer to be the spawn of Satan himself. Almost none of what he writes is true, and it’s getting to the point where I’m beginning to think an intervention on mental health grounds might be the best thing for him right now. In his latest Facebook rant, he has pivoted slightly to get the exceptionally capable Wes Streeting (a “lamentable wax-faced mannequin”) in his sights. I believe he really does have a Jeremy Corbyn hot water bottle.

I remember thinking he was ok around 2012-15 but he's positive proof that Corbynism rots the brain.

Does anyone else commemorate lost elections? Did Ted Heath commemorate losing the February 1974 election (when he got more votes but fewer seats than Labour). "I was inspired by the Who Governs? campaign that I headed, and had I won by a street, we'd have solved in industrial relations in a much better way than Mrs Thatcher".

I'm still waiting to hear about this Brexit which (the EEA ruled out) wouldn't have dumped us in lots of the same slow growth shit we are in now.

2017 was an ideal result for the Jezzerati. Close enough to claim a moral victory and say they'd have done it if the Establishment hadn't been afraid of them, but not close enough to compromise their principles by winning.

Thanks for that Abers. I had wondered where the 2,227 figure came from but couldn't be arsed to check it. It is, of course, bollocks - as he says, the Jezzites plough the furrow that centre = right and eveyone who isn't them is a Tory ad nauseum, yet presumably they would all have fallen under the great man's spell.
